Welcome to...Black Diamond Farm, source of the most distinguished, tasty apples available, locally or long-distance. We’re located in Trumansburg
(T-burg), in the heart of the Finger Lakes region of New York, adjacent to the Black Diamond soon-to-be hiking biking trail. The area has a long rich history of apple growing. Despite our small size, we're growing some of the most exciting new varieties and many treasured 'heritage' apple varieties. We take pride in producing high quality fruit selected for excellent and unusual tastes. Practicing IPM (Integrated Pest Management), we grow apples, pears, plums, grapes, blueberries, cherries, and peaches...but mostly apples.

We're a small family operation. Ian and Jackie Merwin own the orchard and do all the work (with a little help from family and friends).

There's a small section of the orchard devoted to antique Fench and English apples grown for traditional hard cider blends. They have great names like Brown Snout, Foxwhelp, Fillbarrel, Magog Redstreak, etc. They're not for eating fresh, but for great hard ciders they're the best.

Cidermakers inquire via email.
